Hello Canada,

This post is coming to you from sunny Jamaica!!! I just came back from a resort tour of Royal Plantation Ocho Rios and I must tell you that I have been in love with this property from the first time I saw it. Each and every time I go to Royal Plantation my expectations of the resort are always exceeded. There are so many details that set this resort apart from all other properties. Here are just a few that I want to mention:

-Mangosas, chilled towel, rosewater face and body misting, cucumber eye cooling every morning on the beach by your beach butler : Just imagine sitting on the beach and receiving this sort of service that is fit for Royalty.

-Cooking lessons with the chef at a Royal Plantation Wellness Luncheon

-The C-Bar, Jamaica’s only champagne and caviar bar, features white-gloved service and Veuve Cliquot champagne, served alongside the finest Iranian caviar packaged exclusively for Royal Plantation.

Gina - Jamaica is my favourite destination - Royal Plantation is they most beautiful property I have ever seen - and you and yes you are correct - the details that Royal Plantations puts into their daily service to their guests is absolutely terrific.

I did have the chance to see this property a few years ago and it is one of the best resorts that I have ever seen and I have been in the industry for 20 years. Any fams scheduled for Royal Plantation?

Thank you Teresa and John for your comments. As for fams we will be putting some on in the fall and a visit to Royal Plantation will be included. John, we do have a one night fam to Turks and Caicos so that agents can see the new Italian village. Please contact your bdm for more information.

I've been to view Royal Plantation twice and I just love it. Fromt he moment you set foot outside the Resort and can see straight through to the ocean through the front door, you know you have discovered Paradise. The grounds are gorgeous and lush, the attention to detail is amazing. My favourite would have to be the private Villa.
This is the perfect resort to relax and baske in pure luxury.

I LOVED Royal Plantation!!! I could definitely see myself being pampered there. I loved all of the little details that you can tell have been very thought through. I also really enjoyed the coffee table book of the stars that have all stayed there.

I have not seen the property completed yet. It was being built when I was in Jamaica last however I have sent several clients who have come back raving about it. I look forward to seeing it completed very, very soon.

Sandals Grande Ocho Rios is next door to Royal Plantation and Sandals Dunns River is about a 10 minute drive.

Hi Gina,

I love Royal Plantations too. Last week I was visiting Jamaica and saw most of the Sandals, and got the chance to visit Royal Plantations! I love it there. We set up a private fam and had some of the best treatment. The staff really knows how to treat travel agents and know what to say to sell. We were introduced to everyone from bell boys to chefs and managers. Great service and hospitality!
Unfortunately Villa Plantana was occupied so we did not enter but we did do a quick run through of the private grounds and pool area. And that staircase leading to the villa is unbelievable! One of my favorite wedding locations ever! They told us about a ceremony recently done there on the staircase with the trees lit up, it sounded magical!

Please tell me about Rio Chico!! I am hoping to visit sometime, the staff at Royal Plantations told me about the lawn, apparently it is very beautiful there!

This is by far, my favorite location for many reasons but mainly for the euphoric feeling is gives me. It is remote, lush, quite and so intimate that it's my new hidden gem!

The food is incredible and the rooms are so luxurious and offer plenty of personal touches to sweeten your stay. I loved this location and know my clients will too! Christine was fantastic and so informative, her sweet, gentle and caring nature offer any client impeccable service and guarantee and fabulous destination choice. So grateful to have stepped foot on such beautiful property!

I love, love, love, LOVE Royal Plantation. I knew from the moment I stepped in through the doors and saw the ocean at the other end, that I was in heaven !!

The property is so beautiful and serene that you really feel like you are on your own private island. The staff are phenomenal. Unfortunately the villa was occupied when we visited. But I can't wait for the opportunity to visit Royal Plantation again.
