Grand Opening - Beaches Turks & Caicos

A few weeks ago Hollywood headed to the Caribbean as Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages & Spa celebrated the official Grand Opening of its new, all suite resort expansion – the Italian Village and enhanced Pirates Island Water Park. Beaches Resorts, voted the World’s Best Family Resorts 11 years in a row, hosted a four day getaway filled with parties, special events, music, live performances and of course, lots of fun in the sun! The Grand Opening Celebration was host to Hollywoods hottest celebs, including Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli, Jenna Elfman, Cheryl Hines, Bethenny Frankel, Jason Mesnick and Molly Melaney, Debi Mazar, Robert Buckly, Joey Fatone, Lou Ferrigno, Catherine Bell, Elizabeth Rohm and many more.
I asked one of our top agents, John Wood to send me back his feedback of the resort and of the Grand Opening and here is what he had to say: :
Describe your experience of the grand opening event and how it compares to others you have been to:
“The grand opening was spectacular, truly done with style and elegance. The fire-works were impressive to say the least, a fabulous finale.
The number and stature of dignitaries that took the time to attend the event shows how critical the Stewart's and their team are to the economies of the Caribbean. Certainly I have never attended an event anywhere with such an esteemed attendee list.
I was honoured to have been invited’.
What was your favorite part of the event?
“My favourite part of the event was when Beaches was recognized as a six star”.
Describe your experience of Beaches Turks & Caicos:
“The venue is breathtaking, the water practically glows.
Service, food, activities, attention to detail Beaches Turks has it all. This is one of the few resorts that my wife would like to go back to....she's kind of fussy.
As a mature couple we don't normally stay at family resorts. The thoughtful way in which the resort is designed truly permits the typical adult only type client to enjoy the property.
-We had a blast in the waterpark
-I played Xbox 360 both in the room and at the location set up in the Waterpark area.
-We ate at the 50's style restaurant several times...and it's sure kids focussed.
The rooms in the Italian Village are spectacular. The furnishings, design, layout, view ...everything about them is flawless and luxurious. You can't help but relax and feel spoiled rotten.
My idea of a dream vacation”!!!!!

I know about Sandals and how great their service is! Turks is definitely on my list to visit! Can't wait to hear the feedback from the FAM trip!

I just stayed at Beaches Boscobel with my family last month and I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience it was. From the shows each night, to the amazing food (our favourite was the Tex-Mex restaurant), out door movie theatre showing a brand new movie, to the local artists displaying their work, to ALL of the amazing activities to choose from, it was fantastic!!!
We had a character breakfast with the Sesame Street Gang on our last day and it was such an amazing party for us all!
What truly stood out to me was how the staff interacted with the children, it wasn't a fake, forced "nice". It was a true, genuine soft-spot for kids. I am now used to the unparalelled excellence in service at the Sandals and Royal Plantation Resorts, but the Beaches staff take it to the next level! They aren't trying to impress the parents, they truly enjoy working with children! Staff greeted my kids by name everywhere and asked about their day, and what they liked best, and they really took time to listen and speak with them!
We have another family trip booked for Beaches Turks & Caicos in October with 3 other families. The more I hear about it, the better it sounds! We can't wait!
I fell in love with T&C while on cruise. I'm trying to plan a family vacation to Beaches for this winter. the grand opening souds like it was fabulous! six stars! that's incredible.
is hard to go to any other resort.Once you experience Sandals, you are spoiled for life. No other resort will do :o)
