A few weeks ago Hollywood headed to the Caribbean as Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages & Spa celebrated the official Grand Opening of its new, all suite resort expansion – the Italian Village and enhanced Pirates Island Water Park. Beaches Resorts, voted the World’s Best Family Resorts 11 years in a row, hosted a four day getaway filled with parties, special events, music, live performances and of course, lots of fun in the sun! The Grand Opening Celebration was host to Hollywoods hottest celebs, including Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli, Jenna Elfman, Cheryl Hines, Bethenny Frankel, Jason Mesnick and Molly Melaney, Debi Mazar, Robert Buckly, Joey Fatone, Lou Ferrigno, Catherine Bell, Elizabeth Rohm and many more.
I asked one of our top agents, John Wood to send me back his feedback of the resort and of the Grand Opening and here is what he had to say: :
Describe your experience of the grand opening event and how it compares to others you have been to:
“The grand opening was spectacular, truly done with style and elegance. The fire-works were impressive to say the least, a fabulous finale.
The number and stature of dignitaries that took the time to attend the event shows how critical the Stewart's and their team are to the economies of the Caribbean. Certainly I have never attended an event anywhere with such an esteemed attendee list.
I was honoured to have been invited’.
What was your favorite part of the event?
“My favourite part of the event was when Beaches was recognized as a six star”.
Describe your experience of Beaches Turks & Caicos:
“The venue is breathtaking, the water practically glows.
Service, food, activities, attention to detail Beaches Turks has it all. This is one of the few resorts that my wife would like to go back to....she's kind of fussy.
As a mature couple we don't normally stay at family resorts. The thoughtful way in which the resort is designed truly permits the typical adult only type client to enjoy the property.
-We had a blast in the waterpark
-I played Xbox 360 both in the room and at the location set up in the Waterpark area.
-We ate at the 50's style restaurant several times...and it's sure kids focussed.
The rooms in the Italian Village are spectacular. The furnishings, design, layout, view ...everything about them is flawless and luxurious. You can't help but relax and feel spoiled rotten.
My idea of a dream vacation”!!!!!
